My first memory of baking with apples was an apple pudding my mother used to make. It was a Sunday classic in our home, always served warm with custard. That comforting memory has grown into a deeper appreciation for what apples can bring to modern baking.
Over time, I’ve experimented with apples in puddings, fruit salads, and more recently, our famous cheesecakes, cakes, and cupcakes. (Tip: To prevent apples from browning in fruit salads, a splash of lemon juice does the trick!)
